As we are using Google´s infrastructure, the speed is pretty hight regardless of where you are in the world. Personally, I don´t feel much difference if I search for Cloud Sounds compared to local sounds. The download speed is pretty instant if you have a decent internet line. Mostly in Stereo, but if you have 5.1 recordings, Soundly will support this as well.

That said, it will in the next release of the software be possible to upload your personal library to your personal Cloud Storage, so you will have access to your library from wherever you log on. If you want to only search your personal library, just uncheck the Soundly Cloud library. If both the Soundly Library and your personal local library is checked, you will search both library every time you search for a sound.
